Teach for America Product Design
Project Overview
As a Product Designer who worked on the redesign of the Teach for America application, my role was to lead the design process and ensure that the final product met the needs of both the organization's internal users, our recruitment team and its users, largely college graduates applying to become members of Teach for America's highly selective Corps .

The redesign process involved a thorough analysis of the previous application, including user research to understand the needs and pain points of both applicants and staff. This informed the design of wireframes and user flows, which were tested and iterated upon through user testing.

The redesign also involved updating the visual design of the application to improve usability and accessibility, and ensuring that the application was responsive for both web and mobile.

In addition to designing the user interface, I also worked closely with the development team to ensure that the final product was technically feasible and could be easily maintained.

The goal redesign enabled the creation of an intuitive and user-friendly application that streamlined the application process for applicants, and made it easier for staff to review and manage applications. This helped to increase the number of qualified applicants, and ultimately, worked to build toward Teach for America's mission of providing access to excellent education for all students.
